Essential Oils work on our behalf 24/7. That is of course, if you use them that often. Essential means the essence part of the plant which fuels the life, workhorse, and action of the plant. And, in turn reveals its magnificence. The plant extraction includes it’s immunity system which becomes ours, when we use the oils. Because they are highly transdermal, (pass through skin) and into cells, we benefit from their quick action. They are volatile, which means they evaporate when exposed to air and have a high Brownian movement that improves their effect when heat is applied. When applied with a Carrier oil, their benefits are enhanced and sustained longer in our body. Consider all the evidence about the benefits of essential oils, and they will stimulates your desire to fill your life with these magnificent powerhouses by using them day & night! They are awesome indeed!
Our Club Essential Oil Class for March is Organic Geranium Rose. It has a fresh floral aroma with a hint of fruit that is sure to arouse your emotions, thoughts and spirit. Geranium essential oil was used in history as far back as ancient Egyptian times, when they used geranium oil to treat cancerous tumors. Geranium was brought to Europe in the 17th century and it became popular during the Victorian era. Geranium essential oil is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, anti-depressant, relaxing, balancing and uplifting. Some of the common uses include shingles, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, circulatory problems, herpes, infertility, neuralgia, eczema, dry skin, bruises, woman’s hormonal imbalances, insect stings and bites, fungal, herpes, and athlete’s foot. We look forward to sharing the wonders about this wonderful oil at Ignite Yoga Studios on Friday, March 24, 2017.
