Happy Thanksgiving. This week the Archangels would like us to focus on being grateful in the spirit of which it was intended. As I sat down to write this blog, a song we used to sing in the church started playing in my head (you know the ones that come with spiritual headphones). The words to that song are “give thanks with a grateful heart.” I think that sometimes we find ourselves going through the motions and maybe saying the words but are not really feeling them. The advice from the angels is to connect to gratitude in a way that means something to you. And, in a way that is not just an acknowledgment. There are times when we do “fake it til we make it” and that is also appropriate. I believe that If we can manage that part, then we are can also take the next step of trust and belief. Maybe instead of “faking it,” we can be preemptive with our gratitude by being grateful for those things that have not materialized in the physical world. It’s sort of like when you pray for someone and then immediately say thank you for the answering of those prayers.
I am grateful that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
When I was younger, I remember that our house would be filled and overflowing with people. My mother would work herself into exhaustion (and we would go along for the ride) so that everyone would have a wonderful holiday. To me, it never made sense. Yes, I can see why she would want to create that memory, but the most enjoyable moments were the games after dinner, and all of us singing while my mom played the piano. Just being together was the real gift, and those memories are precious. My version of family and the new traditions that we have created are now something that I enjoy-the gift of time with loved ones without the stress of trying to do too much.
Archangel Raquel can help with the balancing of family dynamics. Archangel Chamuel helps with unconditional love for self and others. Archangel Chamuel can also help with that heart connection and embodiment of gratitude.
Thank you to Spirit for the blessings that are showered on all of us each and every day. With a grateful heart, I’m sending you and your family my prayers and wishes for a beautiful holiday.
Happy Thanksgiving.
