Hi Everyone,

This week the angels would like us to bring our awareness to where we’re placing our focus. And, since we are with Archangel Michael this entire month, it makes perfect sense. Archangel Michael embodies anything that relates to steel, such as dedication, commitment, clear seeing, and being unwavering. That doesn’t mean that we are inflexible or unwilling to see things differently, but we can be unwavering when it comes to those things that are most important to us. This does include what we focus on and the stories that we tell ourselves. Be willing this week to allow yourself to change your personal story because what we focus on we create. Maybe, when you encounter challenges this week instead of being really hard on yourself, you can ask, how can I rewrite this story? We absolutely have the power to recreate and rewrite every story we have told ourselves. We also have the power to recreate and rewrite every story someone else has told us.

I love writing both fiction and nonfiction. In the past, one of the parts that really challenged me was editing and rewriting. I asked for some spiritual guidance on that part, and I realized that there was a part of me that was still wondering if I could write (so funny I was already writing). That was someone else’s story that got stuck in my head. When I figured that one out, I then was able to rewrite that particular story to one where I found myself really enjoying the editing/rewriting part because it just makes the writing better and the story come alive. Regardless of their origin, what story would you like to rewrite this week? As always, rewriting and editing are often like giving birth, so be gentle with yourself.
