Wowzer! This last week has been like going to the dentist for a root canal and Disneyland in the same day. We are in our last full week of June, and our sensitivity meter has every reason to be at its highest point. Over the weekend, we had the new moon, a solar eclipse (not visible), and summer solstice. Oh, and if that isn’t enough to nudge that sensitivity meter, we also entered Mercury in Retrograde on June 18th.
The archangels would like us to focus on mindfulness this week so that we don’t get caught up in any old patterns or someone else’s drama. Keep up with your meditations, yoga, and self-care. Observing rather than reacting seems to be an important companion this month as well. Sometimes if we are not paying attention, we can slide back into old patterns that are not helpful. Mercury in Retrograde is all about a chance to check-in with ourselves and see where we’re at. It’s kind of like clearing out your closet. You get a chance to look at everything and see what still fits, what doesn’t, and then get rid of what no longer belongs in there. It also creates space for new stuff!
It is really easy for me to get caught up in work, work, and oh, more work. Today I was reminded how nice it is just to go for a walk, see the beauty and be grateful for the day the Lord has made. It is these moments that rejuvenate and replenish my soul that I can continue being of service. Even if you don’t feel that you have time, please make time this week to replenish your soul in whatever way makes sense for you. Your sensitivities will appreciate the break, and you will find freshness and lightness of being.
As always, during Mercury in Retrograde, Archangel Gabriel can help us with our communication and in speaking in loving, kind, and compassionate ways. Archangel Michael can help us let go of what no longer fits in that closet, and Archangel Ariel can help us create a lightness of being in our home and selves.
Have a great week everyone, I’m sending you good vibes!
