Talking with the Archangels

August 10th through August 17th, Hope

This week the archangels would like us to focus on hope. Feeling hopeful is that tiny seed of faith that springs in the middle of your chest when you think or say, maybe it’s possible. That seed of faith is all it takes to manifest dreams, desires, or possibilities. The angels take our hope and help us give them life by opening doors, introducing us to people, sending us signs, and creating the opportunity. If you’re having trouble finding the small seed, ask the angels to help you. Take that tiny seed then and nurture it and allow it to grow healthy and strong.

Most people equate the lotus flower to the yoga world or to Buddhism. The lotus flower has significant sacred meanings in many different cultures, including Hindu, Egyptian, and in early Christianity. In Saint Thomas of the Cross depictions, you can see the lotus flower shown underneath the cross while a dove rests above it.  To me, it has a special significance as a reminder and a symbol of hope.

This beautiful flower is seen with its blossoms standing tall above the water.  Its stem and stock are sturdy and resilient even though it grows from the bottom of river bottoms and ponds, often in the muddiest of waters. At night, the blossoms retreat and curl in on themselves only to bloom with the sunrise.  It reminds me that no matter where we come from, what our past has been, or the life we have had up to this point, we still bloom, just as sure as the sun rises and sets the lotus flower petals curl and blossom, blooming with the sunrise.

Archangel Sandalphon is the archangel of music and answered prayers and can help us find hope and faith. Archangel Michael can help us to remain steadfast and committed to the tiniest seed of hope.

Activity for the week: Find something creative to do that is outside your normal activities. It can be simple like drawing, coloring in your coloring book, or your children’s coloring book (they’ll love that, especially if you do it with them), take an online class, or paint something,  even for ten minutes.

Over the last three nights, I have fallen asleep and woken with the same song playing in my head, Dream a little dream of me? I have an idea, but I thought it might be fun to see what you think? Thank you, Archangel Sandalphon.

Have a great week everyone, I’m sending you good vibes!
