This week, the archangels would like us to focus on being whatever the person, place, or thing is, creating distress, drama, or awkwardness in your life. I know it sounds odd, but in Native American terms, it would be called shape-shifting. In our physical world, we would imagine being the person, place, or thing. It is a way of understanding someone or something different than yourself and your perspective. Doing this intentional shape-shifting will help you to cultivate grace and empathy. When we extend grace and empathy, we do not necessarily agree with that person, place, or thing. We are only honoring their space or beliefs, even when different from our own. Different is not wrong; it’s just different. Walking a mile in someone’s shoes helps us to see not only the road they are on but how their shoes feel, their gait, and if the road was painful to walk on. This creates empathy
Over the last several weeks, Mercury has been in retrograde, and through it, many of us have taken a walk down memory lane and perhaps even gained some insight. It has been more hectic than usual, and I feel like we definitely earned the “I survived retrograde T-shirt.” Mercury went direct on Sunday, and now we can expect that things will smooth out somewhat over the next week.
This week’s ally is Swan, whose graceful movement allows the ability to glide over the surface so that she can see clearly, everything. It is grace that propels her forward and grace that will also do the same for us. Grace does not have to be earned. It is a gift given freely and available to all. Like all gifts need practice which creates progress. Choosing to give grace to another will cultivate the feeling of grace for ourselves. On the other hand, giving ourselves grace also helps us to be able to share that with another.
Archangel Haniel is the Archangel of Grace. Allow her to help you find it, especially when you feel as though you cannot access that grace.
