October, Transitions and The Keeper of Secrets

Hi Everyone,

Fall has arrived! I am so grateful for the little bit of cool we have had here in the desert—what a welcome change. And, with that breath of fresh air, we are now in our active transition month to the last part of 2021. It doesn’t seem possible. At the beginning of the year, when we met for the New Year’s Eve celebration, I talked about how different these last few months will be in terms of forward motion. What started us off was the autumn equinox and Mercury in Retrograde that will be active until October 18th. It is the last one of the year, and I want to make it count. About that . . .

We don’t always know what we want. We think we do, and then something happens that has us reevaluating dreams, goals, and intentions. I think this is what it should be to give us a chance to check in with ourselves and see if everything still aligns with values, beliefs, and all the personal stuff that make us who we are. It gets easier to tell when we veer off course (for whatever reason) as we begin to struggle in areas of our lives that we normally don’t. So often, the big things are not so easily understood, and decisions can feel monumental. Even when doing all the right stuff, we will still go through periods where we struggle.  I forget that at times and catch myself wondering, what am I doing wrong? I believe it is more about what we are doing right that leads us to these moments where we question and struggle. After, we can laugh about why we stayed so long (pain is inevitable, and suffering is optional). Yet, struggle builds muscle and resiliency if you don’t get stuck in the experience.

The good news is that those big decisions can be changed, reshaped, and made again. It’s easy to get caught up in feelings of inaction or stuckness by our doubt. Those sneaky little dementors will get you every time.  What is important to remember is that we all have choices about how we show up, and the amount of time and energy we give something (or someone). A lot can be said for taking a deep breath and beginning again, especially when done with compassion and kindness. Of course, a little humor can’t hurt either.

Career transitions and realignment is optimum this month. There will be forward motion on those things more business and real-world 101 oriented. We are gathering steam to move ahead and get back to a new normal-ish. I’m not sure what that means yet, but I know we are headed in that direction.

Our allies this month are Archangel Chamuel (the Archangel of Unconditional Love) as we dig deep about what we feel we are worthy of in the form of meaningful and prosperous work. Lynx is working with us as well and is the keeper of secrets.  It’s more about that sense of knowing that we all have. This can reveal new personal discoveries, a deeper connection to your intuitive abilities, and secrets you know about others. In some traditions, it is believed that the Sphinx of Ancient Egypt was a Lynx. The Sphinx doesn’t have much to say but protects a whole host of treasures.

Have a great month everyone, I’m sending you good vibes!

Hi there. I was wondering what you are currently charging for a reading and if you might be having a “Black Friday special” this treat like you had in the past?
