January 20th through January 26th, Nurturing the Soul

Hi Everyone, Just a reminder that for January, we are with Archangel Chamuel and focusing on peace. This week the archangels would like us to focus on nurturing our own soul.  As individuals, we all have something specific that replenishes and nurtures our soul. And it feels fantastic when we actually do it, right? There just seems to be so much on our plates that taking the time out to do the very thing that rebalances and renews us, is the last thing on our to-do list. Taking the advice from the angels this morning, I went and sat on my porch in the sun for just a few minutes. I took the time to be grateful and to thank spirit and my team for the wonderful blessing of nature and to also live in a place where I can be outside in the fresh air. I’m challenging myself to take time-out this week to do one thing that constitutes an adult play date (I’m feeling like a massage or movie with my bestie). We …

January 13th through January 19th, Focus on Storytelling

Hi Everyone, This week the angels would like us to bring our awareness to where we’re placing our focus. And, since we are with Archangel Michael this entire month, it makes perfect sense. Archangel Michael embodies anything that relates to steel, such as dedication, commitment, clear seeing, and being unwavering. That doesn’t mean that we are inflexible or unwilling to see things differently, but we can be unwavering when it comes to those things that are most important to us. This does include what we focus on and the stories that we tell ourselves. Be willing this week to allow yourself to change your personal story because what we focus on we create. Maybe, when you encounter challenges this week instead of being really hard on yourself, you can ask, how can I rewrite this story? We absolutely have the power to recreate and rewrite every story we have told ourselves. We also have the power to recreate and rewrite every story someone else has told us. I love writing both fiction and nonfiction. In …

January 6th through January 12th, Fresh Perspectives

Hi Everyone, For January, we are focusing on Peace with Archangel Chamuel. What that means is that when we are making decisions and looking at choices, it’s important to remember that those choices are something that we can live with. It doesn’t mean necessarily that those choices will be easy ones, nor will they be without challenges. However, it does mean that we will walk into those choices and decisions at peace with them because they will be right for us. Honoring our own soul by aligning with our personal and spiritual beliefs, allows us to be and live in a more peaceful place. This week the Archangels would like us to shift into a fresh perspective. This could be as simple as asking ourselves if how we manage our daily life still makes sense. Maybe you ask yourself if there could possibly be a better, kinder, and more compassionate stance. It’s all about your perspective. There is a Native American story where the grandfather is talking to his grandson. The grandfather explains to his …

December 30th through January 5th, Goodbye and Hello

Hi Everyone, This is an exciting week when we say goodbye to 2019 and hello, to 2020. I sense that as you reflect over the past year, you will be amazed at everything that has happened, including what you accomplished and the goals that you set for yourself. It’s always important to be intentional in goal setting but also be thoughtful and intentional in releasing the past, including this past year. Releasing the past with Archangel Michael will help create the space for the New Year to come. Archangel Michael will be our spiritual warrior this week as we anchor into setting goals, and reflection. We then follow it all up with the courage, commitment, discipline, and trust to stay the course. Archangel Michael’s steely determination and clear sight will help us to keep on track and on target, especially in those moments when we are questioning. Our New Year is a chance to begin again with a clean slate. I love the feeling of hope that comes with a New Year. Within the sense …

December 23rd through December 29th, An Angelic Christmas

Hi Everyone, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! It was Christmas Eve, and one particular group of family and friends gathered together to celebrate. They sat around the fire and talked about the many blessing they had received throughout the year. They also talked about some of their challenges and the important lessons they learned. It was amazing to most of them that even in the challenges, they were able to find the blessings hidden from apparent view. As they continued to talk, the doorbell rang, and there before them stood a stranger.  They welcomed the stranger in to warm by the fire and offered him tea and cookies. They had no idea who this stranger was only that he smelled like roses and made them feel safe and loved. The stranger did not say much, except to thank them for their hospitality. He listened to all of the blessings and all of the challenges. Then they asked the stranger if he would like to share. “I suppose that like you, …

December 16th through December 22nd, New Vision and New Beginnings

Hi Everyone, The celebration of Christmas brings up so many different memories and emotions that it sort of intertwines in the present. This year with the creative inspiration of my sister, we did something different, an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party. We spent an afternoon with some fabulous women, laughed, talked, and all came together just for a moment to celebrate the holiday season. These moments of celebration remind me of finding joy in the simple things. As I was writing this week’s blog, I looked up at my vision board for last year and written in the center of it is “Blending with Spirit, your vision starts here.” Revisiting my vision board was exciting because I could see what I thought was necessary at the time, as well as what has already occurred or is in the process of becoming. This week the Archangels would like us to begin creating our vision for 2020 based on lessons learned and new discoveries. Also, we are still with Archangel Michael this month, remembering who we are. That …

December 9th through December 15th, Sweet Surrender

Hi Everyone, Archangel Michael and “Remember Who You Are” continues this week but in a different way. Archangel Michael is about courage, strength, and commitment. Right about now you are probably wondering what in the heck that has to do with surrender? Everything, because it’s all about surrender. We can be committed, have courage and strength, but also do it in a way that surrenders to the experience and also Spirit. It’s a delicate balancing act between doing what we need to do and then allowing spirit to move in the unseen or unknown spaces. It could be the uncertainty of something your working on or envisioning has not manifested yet, and you’re wondering if you’re on the right track or if you’ve strayed. How can you tell? Trust what your feeling and know that divine timing always plays a crucial role. I sense that this week, it will be important (and the rest of the month) to not swim against the tide. That doesn’t mean not to engage, it just means that when the outcome …

December 2nd through December 8th, Remember Who You Are

Hi Everyone, This week the Archangels would like us to focus on our own understanding of self; who we are. Archangel Michael will be with us this entire month to help us focus on releasing any old messages we may have received about who we are. That old saying of “sticks and stones” comes to mind. However, words have power until we don’t allow it anymore. I think all of us would like the people closest to us to be loving, kind, and support us. Being realistic, it doesn’t always work that way, so we need to be our own advocate and not allow the well-meaning or even well-intended opinions (and not so well-intended) of others to be our guiding light. Let this be the month that your own inner light will guide and any naysayers or people that make you feel less than are released and dissolved. Most importantly, Archangel Michael would like us to know that we are loved beyond measure as divine creations. That also means that everyone else is, even those …

November 25th through December 1st, With a grateful heart

Hi Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving. This week the Archangels would like us to focus on being grateful in the spirit of which it was intended. As I sat down to write this blog, a song we used to sing in the church started playing in my head (you know the ones that come with spiritual headphones). The words to that song are “give thanks with a grateful heart.” I think that sometimes we find ourselves going through the motions and maybe saying the words but are not really feeling them. The advice from the angels is to connect to gratitude in a way that means something to you. And, in a way that is not just an acknowledgment.  There are times when we do “fake it til we make it” and that is also appropriate. I believe that If we can manage that part, then we are can also take the next step of trust and belief. Maybe instead of “faking it,” we can be preemptive with our gratitude by being grateful for those things that …

November 18th through November 24th, The Human Connection

Hi Everyone, This week the Archangels would like us to focus on an appreciation for being human. Most of us juggle a lot of things like jobs, family, personal goals, health, and manifesting that we forget to just be a human being. Please note that I mention being instead of doing. We can get so caught up in “doing it right and perfectly” that we can overlook the seemingly smaller stuff, such as how does this make me feel, and is it right for me? Being authentic also means being vulnerable and allowing all of our humanness to shine. That same vulnerability is also the thing that can connect us to each other even when we can appear to have absolutely nothing in common.  I’m feeling a bit more self-reflective than usual, but then again, I just remembered that we are still in Mercury in Retrograde. For those of you that don’t know, I am a graduate counseling student, and we just completed our second Residency. I greatly appreciated the willingness of my classmates to be …
