New Moon Update – Monday, February 8 at 7:40 AM MST by Lena Stevens and Pat Liles

Dear Friends, New Moon is Monday, February 8, at 7:40 AM Mountain Time (MST). The time around this moon can be testy especially around unexpected events and changes you did not plan on. Watch for accidents and pay attention to your body and your physical environment a little more than usual. On the other hand, this moon provides beautiful opportunities for new connections, new plans, and inspiring ideas of things to come. Make sure to honor this New Moon with a commitment to your intentions by making an action plan of disciplines that will support your choices. This is also the beginning of the Chinese New Year and we are entering the year of the fire monkey. The monkey is one of the allies for the year and can be helpful if used well. (For more on the monkey as an ally, get TRENDS 2016) Blessings, Lena   ASTROLOGICAL NOTES: Written by Patricia Liles.  Contact her at PATLILES@aol.com Aquarius New Moon Sun and Moon in Aquarius ~ 19º Monday, February 8 7:40 AM Mountain Time (February …

The Power Path February Forecast by Lena Stevens and Pat Liles

The main theme for February is COMMITTED CHOICE.   January’s theme of RESET brought with it numerous opportunities for change and change often brings choices and decisions. Some choices and decisions are generated by your own chosen resets and some are a result of a reset you may have experienced from the outside. As we enter February we encounter good influences that will take your choices and decisions and feed them with some momentum allowing for action, manifestation and flow. There are two elements that are necessary for this to happen: Commitment and discipline. Commitment to the choices and decisions you have made will ensure that you get the most out of them. It is a message to spirit that you are truly serious about what you have chosen and intended, what you desire and wish for. This is not a month to be sitting on the fence or to regret your choices or to think the grass is greener on the other side. This is a time to be committed to your life and the …

Power Path Full Moon Update by Lena Stevens and Pat Liles

Full Moon is Saturday, January 23 at 6:46PM Mountain Time (MST).   This is a moon that supports personal expression and an experience of personal power. Acknowledge what you have accomplished this month in terms of RESET and celebrate your own your talents, unique capabilities and personal power. If you feel overwhelmed about what is coming into your life, take a deep breath, ask for clarity, and be willing to allow that which does not serve you to be gone, making room for what wants to manifest. This is a good day to be in community and to inspire each other with new ideas and possibilities. It is time to dream big and do your thinking outside the box. It is also a good moon to anchor new partnerships and commit to new relationships, projects, travel and something you have always wanted to do but never thought you could. What you put into motion during this moon will have a great engine of energetic and higher centered fuel behind it for manifesting in the future. Use …

Guest Blog, Holidays and Grief by Joyce Sorensen

I’m not sure why, but it has been difficult for me to write about my experience with the holidays since Dick died. Perhaps I have fallen into the trap of believing I should have done ‘better’ by now. My best effort follows this section. Some will have surged past me in processing the loss of a person they loved. Still others will have lagged behind me. Despite what we may have been told, we each grieve in our own way and in our own time-frame. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *    2015 marks my third holiday season alone. I would like to tell you that I have recovered, moved on, and don’t miss Dick much. The truth? I have recovered some, I have moved on some, and I still miss him a lot, especially …

Power Path Winter Solstice Update from Lena Stevens

Happy Holidays everyone. I am holding space for all of you as you envision your best, 2016. Winter Solstice is Monday, December 21 at 9:49PM MST Dear Friends, This is the darkest time, the still point that marks the TRANSITION from dark to light. It is a fitting image for our times as the conscious collective holds a container for the planet to move more into the light through compassion and love. Forgiveness would be an excellent theme for this Solstice. Forgiving yourself, others and all our relations on the planet for all the karmic debt that we have individually and collectively carried throughout history and other lifetimes. There is enough energy in the new platform to accomplish this. It is important to do something around this solstice time frame. Create a ritual, or do a renewal process, some intention setting and lots of prayer. Although this solstice is not necessarily an easy time, it is a powerful time and if you use it well it can jump start your year in a positive way. …

Power Path Full Moon Update – Lena Stevens and Pat Liles

Full Moon is Wednesday, November 25th at 3:44PM MST Dear Friends, This is a time for quiet celebration, acceptance of change, and making choices. If you have been ambivalent or in resistance around certain issues that require a choice, this would be a good time to finally make that choice. If you have been afraid to step out of your limited container, and you feel the pressure to do so, now would be a good time to at least make a choice and commitment to doing so. This Full Moon comes with an energy that is inspirational for moving ahead, completing tasks and releasing old attachments. Even if you just take a few minutes and clean out a cabinet or drawer, it will make you feel like there is movement in your life. Being around beauty will give your day a higher centered quality and as we North Americans are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, a good dose of gratitude will help balance the negativity, pressure and confusion you may have been feeling of …

Living Well – November

Contributing Writers: Lisa Bozeman, Vicky Mitchell, Carolan Dickinson, Sudha Balagopal, Lena Stevens and Pat Liles   I remember a scene from one of my favorite movies where the actress says, “I’m supposed to be running my own life but lately my life has been running me.” Do you ever feel this way? My sense is that universally, we are being asked to live our lives in a different way. We are moving into a period of cutting the wheat from the chaff and realizing what is most important and to simplify our lives in whatever way we can. Realizing finally, that we can’t do it all or more accurately we can’t do it all and stay, sane, healthy, happy, and balanced. So why put that kind of pressure on ourselves and instead treat ourselves with kindness and compassion in the choices that we make. As we move into the Holiday season I am reminded of all of the things that I am grateful for and one of the many amazing and wonderful thing is that …

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse Update by Lena Stevens and Pat Liles

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is Sunday, September 27th at 8:50PM Mountain Daylight Time Dear Friends, We are still in the play called “now or never” and the final act is about to start. and yes, this is in fact the beginning of the final act. But since this play is improvisational, where you end it is entirely up to you and your level of trust and faith. Either you will be launched to a new experience of life and opportunity or you will question everything with skepticism and caution. Either way is good. The play is not over yet. Because this time may be fraught with a bit of chaos and craziness, it is very important that you do what you can to keep your grounding. So spending time in nature and with the more sane members of your community is a good idea. Beware of putting your faith and trust in the wrong things or in something that does not really resonate with you. Listen to yourself instead of to others who may be a …

Fall Equinox Update by Lena Stevens of Power Path

Dear Friends, The Equinox is on Wednesday September 23 at 2:20 AM MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). Because the equinox falls close to the 22nd  you can really celebrate and honor it on both days. We are in the middle of this window of opportunity for change and expansion and resetting the way we perceive what is possible and how we are supported. Use this powerful time to hone your faith and trust in something that is important to you. Share the joy and wonder and ask for help if you need it. Decide that this is a magical time and that you are moving into a time frame where anything can happen and whatever happens will support you in ways you cannot imagine. Then go with your faith and trust that it will be so. If you want to honor the time with a ritual, we always recommend honoring the harvest and doing something around gratitude. Blessings, Lena To see the full forecast go to http://thepowerpath.com/

Living Well, September Issue

Living Well September Issue, Volume 2   Contributing Writers: Lisa Bozeman, Lorilee Gillmore, Carol Dickinson, Sudha Balagopal, Lena Stevens and Pat Liles   Hello,Fall! It just seems weird to say that when it’s still so hot here.   At the same time I feel the change of season in different ways.  The traffic is increased, the kids are back in school and the sun just seems to hang differently in the sky.    Though we still have the heat, fall is here nonetheless. Have you been gravitating toward fall colors yet? I find myself wistfully looking at my tall boots and then I remember…having to sweep my car, shoveling the driveway and sidewalks before I went to work and then not being able to see the sun for a month at a time. Whew, that memory scared me a little and I actually started breaking out in a cold sweat. Inside this issue are wise words from talented and generous writers: Ayurvedic Goddess, Lorilee Gillmore takes us on a journey to embrace fall.             …
